Information for Visitors

Buildings and location

The Borys Group and the MonArk NSF Quantum Foundry facilities are located in the Lewis S. Skaggs Applied Science Building (LSSB) on the main campus of the University of Utah. Our primary labs are located on the basement and second floors:

  • MonArk and sample preparation facilities: LSSB W2273

  • Measurement and optical lab: LSSB W0240

  • Nick’s office: LSSB W2214 (north side of the second floor)

The main office of the Department of Physics and Astronomy is located on the second-floor of the Stewart building (ST) in room E2108. Stewart is conveniently connected to the Applied Science Building (LSSB) by a breezeway. Our physical address points to the main office in the Stewart Building:

Our building complex is located northeast corner of the University Street and 400 S intersection (across the street from the Rice Eccles Stadium). Detailed location information is provided on Google Maps.

Parking information

Visitor parking is available in “Lot 2 - Law” which is labeled above.
