Optical metasurfaces for nanoscale control of optical fields

The announcement is a bit late, but the Borys Lab was involved in two papers that were published early this year in ACS Nano.

The second publication that involved work by the Borys Group was on the design of optical metasurfaces to control and manipulate optical fields on the nanoscale. These structures which are special nanoscale patterns of gold, interact with optical fields to create complex intensity distributions that can be used for integrated optical elements and high-performance optical sensors.
